Starting from next October, the figurative painter and teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice prof. Alfredo Tigani will hold a course entitled: "Pictorial Procedures of Ancient Art", which aims to promote and enhance the classic Venetian painting and the ancient Venetian one in particular.
The research is inspired by the principles of classical art and takes into consideration various aspects: composition, form analysis, visual perception, Gestalt, theory of color, perspective. The laboratory practice is carried out with the techniques of oil painting and watercolor. The drawing (also in terms of visual-perceptive and graph-motor control) is performed by using various techniques such as pencil, brush tip and pastel.
Classes will be held every Friday from 10 am to 1 pm, from 5 October 2018 to 14 June 2019;
